On March 12, 2026, Cherkasy State Technological University marked the 66th anniversary of its founding by opening its doors to prospective students. High school seniors from the city and region, college students and graduates, parents, and all those interested had the opportunity to experience firsthand the vibrant academic life of the region’s only technological university—an institution that also serves neighboring areas by providing young Ukrainians with high-quality, modern technological education.

Visitors were immersed in a dynamic program of events dedicated to this special occasion. Notably, the Department of Geodesy, Land Management, Structural Engineering, and Life Safety organized the First International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Safety Technologies: Modern Challenges and Prospects.” The conference brought together regional and city authorities, education leaders, members of the university’s Supervisory Board, as well as partners and friends of the institution.

Throughout the Open Day, prospective applicants had the chance to meet and engage with the university’s leadership, deans, department heads, faculty members, staff, and students. Guests received detailed information about admission requirements, academic advantages, and student life at the university. In the main hall, faculty and students showcased their scientific and technical achievements, including research projects, inventions, engineering developments, software solutions, and innovative prototypes—highlighting the university’s strong academic potential and active research environment.

In addition, future students explored modern educational formats, student initiatives, and extracurricular life. They visited faculties, departments, lecture halls, and laboratories, gaining valuable insight into their future academic and professional paths.
